Course Description

Become a certified unarmed security officer in the state Illinois with the flexibility of TRAINED READY & ARMED'S self-paced online course! Our course is approved by the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to become a certified security professional.    Upon passing this course, you’ll be issued our “Certificate of Completion” and the required Illinois Department of Professional Regulation 20-Hour training completion certificate. Upon completion of the course you'll be eligible to apply for jobs as an unarmed security guard. After completing you will need to obtain a PERC card, which requires fingerprinting to work as a security officer. Meet Traneil, an esteemed police officer with a remarkable 25-year track record in law enforcement. As a Marine Corps Veteran and a Criminal Justice graduate, he excels as a certified law enforcement pistol instructor, NRA pistol instructor, and USCCA firearms instructor. Holding licenses with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations, Traneil furthered his education with a Master's Degree in Business. Passionate about self-defense, his mission is to educate and empower individuals to achieve victory.
